The last several, okay pretty much all, of my blog posts have been about trips, adventures, and experiences. So I thought this would be a good time for a quick life update.
How I’m actually doing one could say.
Well, that’s kind of a hard one. Starting out, I had no idea what it would be like living 5,523 miles away from my entire life as I knew it.
Usually I’m anywhere from 120 – 1,485.
Needless to say, my life has been a whirlwind the last couple months. Time is flying, things are happening, and life back in the States hasn’t slowed down for me one bit.
To give you a picture of what goes on in my daily life… I’ve had a couple job interviews, constant communication with my program adviser at UW-Stout about schedules…
Graduation Fall of 2018!
… beginning to search for an internship this summer, and a whole bunch of emails taking care of random responsibilities. Oh, and not to mention keeping up with the family.
Sorry friends, I know I’ve been kind of distant.
In fewer words, I’m a bit stressed and can’t wait to be home to snuggle with my dog.
Miss you Buddy.
Speaking of stressed, I have two 4000+ word projects due next Tuesday, and another 3500+ word project due next Thursday.
I already submitted one 4500+ word project last Thursday.
Needless to say, I’ve got a lot on my plate. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining by any means, I just wish things would slow down for a second.
And even though I know it won’t, one can hope.
Reverse culture shock is going to hit me hard in a few weeks when I return to the States. So please, be a little patient with me. If I say or do something a little absurd, it’s probably because it was completely appropriate to say or do here.
But that’s a topic for another time.
In all honesty, and to sum up the gibberish above, I’m ready to come home and I can’t wait to see you all.
17 days, people. 17 days.
So, in the meantime, please enjoy these ridiculously awkward pictures of me.
We’ll call them Study Abroad Bloopers…
