Celina. It’s hard to imagine not knowing each other before meeting half way across the world in a place neither of us had been prior. I still remember the first time I walked into our shared room because all I could think about was how thankful I was you seemed normal.
Because 5 minutes later you asked if I was comfortable with you not wearing pants to bed.
Um, go for it.
Nevertheless, I still can’t believe how quickly we bonded. Whether it was over our late night chats (giggling too much and too loudly), getting lost on our many adventures, or our countless gelato stops.
I will probably never forget your order.
Our mutual love for late night chats, not wearing pants, and gelato (lots and lots of gelato) was more than I could ask for in a friend. Becoming best friends was one of my favorite parts of this study abroad experience.
I enjoyed being your personal photographer too.
I learned a lot from you though, so thank you. Thank for you teaching me how to flip crepes, for always being my coffee date, for helping me text back stupid guys, for telling me when I had a bad hair day, for introducing me to VSCO, and for always making me laugh. I’ll even let you take credit for bringing out my fun side once in a while.
Once in a great, great while.
I also just want to thank you for being there for me this semester. It would have been a totally different experience without you constantly asking me questions everywhere we went.
Should probably tell you now then… I made up 75% of the answers.
In fewer words, I just want to say how much I’ve loved our Greek adventures together.
Here’s to many more.
See ya in Boston, babe.
